Q - I've got photos in my computer. How do I get these to you?
A - Instructions on how to do this are on the order page.
Q - How do I place an order?
A - You can order 4 ways:
Print & Mail Order: Go to the order page and print out the form. Fill it out and mail it along with the pictures to Attn: Oliver Steins R.R1 2298 County Rd. 23, Grafton, Ontario K0K 2G0. You may also mail us a CD disk; however the photos on disc must be a resolution of at least 300 dpi and saved in an uncompressed file format. See the order page for details.
Upload: You may scan or have your photos scanned and upload them to us for retouching and/or restoration.
Call: You may also place your order over the phone by calling 905-269-0536 and either email your photos or mail them via postal service.
Locally in Cobourg, Port Hope and Grafton Ontario: We can meet with any local resident to pick up photos and discuss pricing.
Q - How should I package my photos for mailing?
A - Photo Mailers are appropriate packaging for newer photos or negatives that just need color correction or retouching done. If the photo is old or damaged where it is extra fragile, we recommend that you:
Sandwich the photo carefully between two pieces of thick cardboard (the edges of the cardboard should extend at least 1 inch beyond the photo
Tape the cardboard together on its edges.
Place in an appropriate express mailer and express mail it to:

Q - How long does it take to complete my order?
A - One photo that has moderate damage usually takes about a week to process
during most of the year if you are ordering prints. The closer we are to a
holiday, the longer it may take. Rush orders are available at additional cost.

Q - I only have the negative to the photo I want restored/retouched, can
you still help me?
A - Yes! We can scan your negative or other transparency and make the necessary
corrections the same way we would a print.
Q - What if I am not satisfied with the results of the restoration?
A - If you are not satisfied with the results at the time you see the digital
proof, let us know and we will refund 100% of your deposit (if applicable)
and charge you nothing.
Q - Can I see the results of the restoration before the prints are made?
A - Yes! We will post the results of the restoration online if you would like to see it before it is printed.
Q - Do you alter the originals?
A - No. Our retouching services are done digitally, your original will be returned to you unmodified.
Q - What will I get back when I place an order?
A - You will receive in the mail your original photo(s), and a CD containing your restored photo(s), and print(s) of the restoration. If you ordered additional prints, you will receive these as well.
